Our Nurse Practitioners have more than 30 years combined experience in the healthcare field and have a shared passion to enhance the lives of every patient they see. They offer customized care to each patient by combining a research-based holistic approach with both traditional healing and naturopathic modalities.

At Wingfoot Wellness & Hormones, our care team genuinely cares for patients and understands that no two patients are the same. Our practitioners are here to listen to you. Michelle Amado, MSN, FNP-C

Michelle is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who graduated from University of Phoenix in 2017 with a Master of Nursing Science degree. She has been a practicing nurse providing hands on care and health education to her patients since 1999. Michelle’s experience blends both traditional methods with functional and holistic medicine. She is accomplished in treating bio-identical hormone replacement in men, women and children and treats a wide variety of conditions ranging from chronic fatigue, diabetes, weight loss, infertility, thyroid disease, and auto-immune conditions to list a few. She is determined to find the root cause of an ailment, regardless of what numbers say on lab reports or other tests and is eager to bring this knowledge and experience to Wingfoot Wellness & Hormones.

Michelle Resendez, MSN, FNP-C

Michelle is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in the healthcare field since 1999. After becoming a practitioner, she combined her love for alternative, natural medicine with traditional medicine. Her specialties include bio identical hormone replacement, weight loss, thyroid issues, autoimmunity, anemia, gastrointestinal issues, vitamin deficiencies, diabetes,anxiety, depression, sleep disturbances, natural performance enhancement, preventative care, chronic fatigue and more. She is passionate about patient education and believes that all patients should be in control of their healthcare decisions. She has successfully treated patients with a diverse range of health conditions that had not responded well to conventional medical treatments.

Michelle believes in the holistic approach to medicine, which is the backbone of nursing science, but understands that there may be a need for traditional medicine. She believes in optimizing methods that are safe, minimally invasive, and evidence based to stimulate and strengthen the body to heal itself. She is determined to find the root cause of an ailment, regardless of what numbers say on lab reports or other tests. She will continue to search for answers and will develop an individualized health plan that is unique to you.

Stacy Barrows, FNP-C

Born in Colorado Springs, CO, Stacy Barrows moved and grew up in Mesa, AZ. Completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Grand Canyon University. She is a Board-certified family nurse practitioner and a member of the AANP (the American Association of Nurse Practitioners). Specializing in family practice, she started her nurse practitioner career in 2017 with a clinical interest in acute and urgent care services. Other experience includes pain management and aesthetics. She also has experience working in surgical and emergency medicine as a registered nurse.

In her free time, Stacy enjoys spending time with her 2 children who are heavily involved in sports and with their 2 dogs.


Missy Carrasco, Office Manager

Missy is originally from Minnesota but has called Arizona her home for many years. She is married and has a blended family with 5 children and 2 grandchildren. She has 15 years of experience in the banking industry. Her experience includes financial investments, mortgages, credit cards and portfolio management. In 2015 she made her switch into the healthcare field where she has gained experience in the dermatology and hormone/wellness field.

Melissa Pereyra, Office Assistant

Melissa is originally from Chihuahua, Mexico. In 2017 she moved to El Paso, TX, and graduated with an Associate Degree in Health Science. She recently moved to Arizona intending to become a Speech and Hearing Pathologist. She has several years of experience working in retail but decided to apply her interpersonal skills in the healthcare field. She strongly believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to improve their health and lifestyle. Looking to be a tool to connect the Hispanic community, especially Spanish speakers, with our providers, she is always happy to help translate. During her free time, she enjoys working out, dancing, being outdoors, and spending time exploring what the city has to offer.

Gracie Reyes, Office Assistant

Gracie was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. She graduated early from Trevor G Browne High School in 2019. After high school she decided to move out to a new city for bigger and better opportunities in Mesa, AZ. She enjoys spending time with her Husband and fur baby, Olaf. She loves to train her dog, read, watch new TV shows and shop at new places. She is very excited to be a part of the Wingfoot Wellness team and can't wait to meet and be of service to all of our patients.


Cheyenne Kleman, Medical Assistant

Originally from North Carolina, but Arizona is where she now calls home. She is a medical assistant with a background in asthma and allergy. She spends her free time lounging with her cat SJ, and painting pictures you won’t find in a gallery. She loves to cook, and play board games with her family. She is very excited to meet all the wonderful patients and be a part of the Wingfoot Wellness family.

Caitlin Cox, Medical Assistant

'Country' Caitlin is originally from California and equally loves the beach as well as the mountains. Although, Arizona does not have beaches, lakes are a good alternative. She is currently pursing her dream of becoming a BSN, RN. She has been a Certified Medical Assistant for many years now and enjoys learning all about different specialties. She has two rambunctious yet loving fur babies, a German Shepherd and St Bernard. She enjoys reading, snowboarding, spending quality time with family and traveling the world.

Kaitlyn Dunigan, Medical Assistant

aka Good Kaitlyn is originally from Upstate New York and although she misses her family, she fell in love with Arizona and quickly made it her new home in 2019. During her free time, she enjoys reading, trying new coffee shops around the valley, exploring the outdoors and dog sitting.

She has been part of the Wingfoot Family since 2020 and has enjoyed getting to know our patients and continue to learn and grow within our company.

Jaylen Higgins, Medical Assistant

Jaylen is a positive and vibrant Medical Assistant and Certified Phlebotomist hailing from the great lake state of Michigan. Jaylen brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to our Wingfoot Wellness family. With a warm smile and gentle demeanor, Jaylen creates an atmosphere of comfortability and trust, putting patients at ease during their medical journey. His passion for healthcare and dedication to providing exceptional patient-centered care makes Jae an indispensable member of our team.

Ronnell Nielsen, Medical Assistant

Ronnell is an Arizona native with a deep love for the desert and the outdoors. She has background work in the dental and orthodontic assisting field and is a licensed esthetician as well. She loves all things health and wellness, so Wingfoot Wellness & Hormones was the perfect fit. She enjoys helping patients feel comfortable at our office. She can usually be found playing with her 4 amazing kids and puppy, hiking, paddle boarding, running, eating ridiculous amounts of ice cream, listening to good music and baking.

Kasey Harris, Aesthetician

Kasey is a licensed aesthetician, Laser Technician in Mesa, Arizona. She cares about inner beauty and health as well as creating beautiful faces, and loves making people feel better about themselves. I have created a sacred space for you to enjoy clinically effective and naturally beautiful face and body treatments. I am committed to providing superior services and assisting in custom home care recommendations to better serve you in enhancing your glow inside and out.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, family and playing with her dog, reading, and gardening and traveling.

Raven Schultz, Phlebotomist

Raven is originally from Ridgecrest, California. In 2014 she moved to Queen Creek, Arizona and finished her middle school and high school years. She graduated from American Leadership Academy in 2020. Raven has a loving family, two sisters who she's very close to and a loving grandmother who she lives with today. She has always been in love with Halloween and vampires, so in 2021 she attended Pima Medical Institute to become a Phlebotomy Technician. She ended up doing her externship at Wingfoot Wellness & Hormones. Raven now has been a phlebotomist here ever since and absolutely loves taking care of the patients and making sure they are comfortable when getting their blood drawn.
